Our rigorous sourcing principles includes our own 'green' assessment for our key products for ecological sustainable design in the built environment. The criteria includes:
- Primary resource requires established chain of custody and independent Third Party accreditation, such as GECA, FSC, PEFC & AFS;
- Products should be innovative, with the utilisation of leading technologies for efficient use and possible re-use;
- Manufacturing sustainability, assess product processes, human resource management and community welfare;
- Selecting sound manufacturing partners who can demonstrate reliable, sustainable supply and conversion practises;
- Manufacturers must demonstrate and support International Warranties and technical competence;
- All products distributed must have independent performance data to substantiate product claims;
- Avoid any controversial or illegal forest based supply sources such as non certified Tropical timber; and
- Products should not have excessive VOC or harmful chemical contents higher than international standards or local building requirements.
Products within our expanded offer will allow designers, specifiers and consumers to utilise the features and benefits attributed to products within the various portfolios. Our Cork, Bamboo and Timber flooring will provide, extensive colours and natural textures.
